SUPPORT

The Service of Marriage, Family and Life promotes a culture that respects the dignity of each and every person, throughout the different stages of life, from conception until natural death. We encourage the faithful, as well as all members of society, to reconsider how to promote and enhance the value of life and defend human dignity.

The Great Struggle of Our Age

"In the late 20th century, and into the 21st, no issue has been more important in the United States than abortion...abortion is the issue of the day in which an entire class of people have been denied their humanity — completely. The very personhood of the unborn is denied, and the consequence in the United States alone has been 50 million deaths." - By Supreme Knight Carl A. Anderson 1/1/2021

Winnipeg Life's Vision has licensed, through CCBR, an unlimited license to use the Study Series "A Christian's Guide to Defending Life in the Womb" to provide this formation. It is also about healing those who have suffered from abortion - all too common in today's secular world - 1 in every 4 pregnancies in our country.

This series is designed to run over five weeks, meeting once a week. Sessions begin with a 30 min. educational video by one of CCBR’s speakers and continue with small group discussions guided by facilitator and participant guides.

COVID-19 Pandemic - Spiritual Resources

In light of the current COVID-19 pandemic, we are all being asked to partake in a Eucharistic Fast at this time in an effort to help do our part in slowing the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

As Archbishop LeGatt stated it so well in the “Pandemic Preparation Liturgical Protocol No. III for the Novel Coronavirus COVID-19”:

The Sunday celebration of the Eucharist is the very heart of our Catholic life, and I realize that this directive will be a cause of great suffering. However, we observe this as our civic duty at this time, and offer this moment in sacrifice to God for the sake of all who are ill from the COVID-19 virus, united in prayer for all, especially the frail and vulnerable as well as all front-line health care providers.

This current pandemic is an opportunity for us to grow in our personal faith and to gather in prayer with our families and loved ones, whether we live together or connect virtually.
